HAMILTON THORNE ANNOUNCES EXPANDED PRODUCT OFFERINGS TO SERVE THE ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGIES MARKET

BEVERLY, MA and TORONTO, Ontario – October 30, 2017 - Hamilton Thorne Ltd. (TSX-V:HTL), a leading world-wide provider of precision instruments, consumables, software and services to the Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and developmental biology research markets, today announced that it has substantially expanded the range of products that it will offer to the ART market on a direct sales basis in North America.

Gynemed Glass Micropipettes – Hamilton Thorne is introducing a complete line of Gynemed branded ICSI, holding and biopsy micropipettes. Each pipette is precision-made in Germany to exacting specifications and individually serialized for the ultimate traceability and quality.
Hamilton Thorne TrakJectorTM Micromanipulation System – Hamilton Thorne is introducing its new Hamilton Thorne branded TrakJector Micromanipulator System. This newly developed system is made in Germany and offers a unique control system for fast and accurate ICSI and biopsy procedures.
Hamilton Thorne DuraSlides™ Reusable Chambers – Hamilton Thorne’s DuraSlides represent the next dimension in durable, re-usable counting chambers. DuraSlides come in three configurations: gridded counting chambers of 10-micron and 20-micron depths for manual counting and a special DuraSlide CASA for use with Hamilton Thorne’s IVOS and CEROS analysis systems.
Planer CT37stax Incubator and Monitoring System – The innovative space saving design of the CT37stax multi-chamber benchtop incubator provides the optimal environment for culturing embryos in the IVF lab. Its unique design affords the highest dish capacity of any benchtop incubator currently available while needing 30% less space in a laboratory.

Halosperm® DNA Fragmentation Kits – Halosperm is the leading in vitro diagnostic kit for measurement of DNA fragmentation in a fast, easy, and reproducible manner. Hamilton Thorne’s CASA systems offer its unique DNA Frag module to automate the use of the Halosperm kit in the research setting.
Panasonic Incubators – The Panasonic CytoGROW MCO-5M-PA multigas (CO2/O2) incubator is designed for precision, uniformity and repeatability of in vitro conditions. The compact, stackable design maximizes lab space and is ideal for individual cell culturing and IVF applications.
ZEISS Microscopes – The ZEISS family of stereoscopic, upright and inverted microscopes provide superior image quality and reliability for delicate IVF procedures, at a competitive price.
SAFE Sens® TrakStation® and TrakPod® – SAFE Sens offers continuous, non-invasive and calibration free pH monitoring systems of embryo culture media in large format and benchtop incubators. The TrakStation connects up to eight TrakPods, which automatically and continuously measure pH without having to remove samples from the incubator(s).
